    Scooter Service

    Keep your scooter running like the day you bought it with a routine maintenance! These appointments can include everything from an oil change, belt replacement, valve adjustment, coolant and brake fluid changes to tire changes, electrical issue solving, cosmetic refinishing, detail services and accessory installations. While we always suggest checking in with our service staff for details on your specific model, we recommend your first service at 625 miles or 4 months (whichever comes first) and subsequent services for most scooters for 3000 miles. First I would like to say I have been a motorcycle rider for over 30 years, so when it came to learning about Vespas, I needed to be educated on the different styles and models. When I first walked in the store I was greeted by Megan who is one of the owners. She was so welcoming and kind. Then Kenny (owner) also came over to meet me and explain more about Vespas and their history. This is a family owned store and they made me feel like part of their family. I also met Lexi their daughter who was also wonderful and sweet! A few days later, and when I walked in the store, I saw my beautiful Vespa ready to go with a "Sold" sign on it. Kenny took the time and showed me everything that I needed to know to feel safe about riding my Vespa home. He even rode my Vespa over to a quiet neighborhood street, so I could get used to it before getting on the main road. Now, when I get on my scooter and ride it feels like I'm on a vacation. There's no other way to describe it. Being on two wheels is amazing, but on a Vespa weather, you're doing errands or taking a trip to the beach it just feels like you're always on vacation!   • Like so many of the other reviews, I have had excellent experiences at Vespa Sherman Oaks over the years. The first was in 2019 when it was finally time to replace my beloved 2001 Vespa ET4 with over 30,000 miles on it! They were professional and pleasant, making the process of selecting and purchasing my 2019 Vespa Primavera 150 easy and enjoyable. I brought it back over the years for regular services. But the real standout experience was this winter after I had my first Vespa accident in decades of driving. It wasn't significant damage but my insurance company wanted to total my bike, based upon photographs only; they were resistant to repair (which I preferred, given the level of damage) and extremely difficult to deal with. But Lexie at Vespa SO saved the day! She was a great advocate for me and actually helped to sort out a lot of the problems with the insurance company, all while being pleasant and encouraging when I was ready to give up. The bike got repaired, and it looks and rides like new. Thank you Lexie and the rest of the team!

Also fixed my broken seat latch (no charge) and advised me boneheads from 6 years ago put in wrong battery and didn't put the battery tray back in. Everyone was so courteous. Store clean and well stocked. Love this place

I live out of state and happened to find my dream Vespa in a hard-to-find color on their website. I communicated with Lexie throughout the whole process, which involved mailing payment and contracts back and forth, and she was fantastic! I appreciated that she kept me updated every step of the way and was available via text. They coordinated the shipment of my Vespa from CA to WA and it just arrived yesterday in beautiful shape! I was nervous about buying a Vespa out of state, but they made it so fun and stress free. I could not be more thrilled and would recommend Vespa LA to anyone.

  • This is a great family-owned place. I brought my Fly 150 here in October after the ignition was wrecked in an attempted theft. My bike was going to be stuck there for months waiting on a part held up in shipping delays, but Kenny got creative and figured out a DIY solution for me. He saved me several hundred dollars and got my bike running again when I thought it would be stuck there much longer. My go-to scooter repair shop!
